2005 Notable Design Award - Career Category - Fire Chief's Station Style Design Competition.
The solution for the Three Points project was to provide for 3 separate buildings that form a campus of public facilities. Our firm conducted a thorough needs analysis and budgeting process prior to the design of this new fire station. The fire station provides apparatus bays, residential quarters for the crew, and support areas for the station. The Community / Training Building will be used for training the fire fighters as well as being available for use by members of the community. The administration building will serve as the headquarters of the District, providing offices, conference rooms, archival storage, and central receiving for the supplies needed for all the fire stations in the District. The Fire Station has been built and in use since 2003, the other buildings are designed and awaiting bond monies for completion.
