This project was a Renovation of the Culinary Arts classroom. The scope included upgrading 5 culinary arts cooking stations to commercial quality ranges, stainless steel casework and plumbing fixtures. Existing flooring was replaced with red quarry tile. The code required that all ranges have commercial exhaust. Exhaust hoods and Ansul systems were included in the scope of work. The new mechanical units were supported on the existing roof, and a screen was added around the perimeter of the roof to buffer the view from the students. The new culinary arts room was upgraded to allow ADA access into the building and have accessible access to the cooking area.
